How it works

From first form to running software

Every engagement follows the same five steps. The price is fixed before the build starts.

The five steps

Intake

You fill in the intake form: the problem, who will use the solution, and the requirements it has to meet.

Fixed-price statement of work

We send a statement of work with a fixed price and written acceptance criteria. Anything outside it goes through a change order, priced before it is built. We build one solution at a time. Other ideas get their own statement of work once this one is accepted.

Build

We build against the acceptance criteria. The software runs in your own accounts, on your own API keys, and we are invited in as a member.

Handover and enablement

We hand the solution over and run a live training session with your team.

Retainer

A monthly retainer covers maintenance: next-business-day response, a 48-business-hour fix window, and an emergency path set up for you.

You own it

  • The source code and the product belong to you, always.
  • Your software runs in your own accounts, on your own API keys.
  • We join your accounts as a member. You stay the owner.

What we ask you for

These shape the price, so we ask before we quote.

  • Whether you need single sign-on, and with which provider.
  • Your security setup and any compliance requirements.
  • How many people will use it.
  • Your backup and disaster-recovery plan.

What you plan

These answers belong to your business. The statement of work names them.

  • How you will onboard your team.
  • Who maintains the software day to day.
  • What happens when it goes down.
  • Your own technical contact for when we are unavailable.
